Returns

Your security is our priority. You may purchase with confidence knowing that electronic products from Hak5.org are guaranteed new. Hak5 gear is never refurbished or resold, ensuring product integrity.

Due to the sensitive nature of information security equipment, electronic products returned to Hak5 are destroyed and disposed of in accordance with our data integrity policy.

If a product is defective, a warranty claim must be opened.

• Select eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receipt
• Returnable items are subject to a 15% restocking fee
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable
• You are responsible for the charges of the return shipping
• Merch and items marked final sale are not returnable
• Electronic items are only returnable for destruction and disposal
• Electronics returned to Hak5 are not eligible for a refund
• An e-waste destruction and disposal fee may be assessed for each returned electronic item
• Gifts, e-books, software and promotional items are not returnable
• Insure your returns shipping as lost items cannot be refunded
• To return an item to the Hak5 product destruction and recycling center, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Only returns with a valid RMA number will be accepted.

Refunds

Within 10 business days of merchandise acceptance the credit to the original source funds (PayPal, Credit Card) will be initiated. This may take one full billing cycle to appear on your statement. A 15% restocking fee may be assessed to returned products.

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied original method of payment, within 10 working days.
• Returnable items are subject to a 15% restocking fee
• Original shipping and handling charges are non refundable
• International orders are subject to customs and duty charges by your country and are non refundable

Refused Packages

Refusal of a package, VAT, duties or other customs fees will result in the destruction of goods at the border which may incur additional charges. Destroyed goods are not refunded.

EU Withdrawl

Pursuant to EU Directive 2023/2673, eligible consumers may submit a request to withdraw from a qualifying distance contract within the applicable statutory withdrawal period. Submission of this form constitutes a request for review and processing in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
